Shakespeare's House.

Post by Guest on Mon May 28, 2012 10:28 pm

First topic message reminder :

Shakespeare sat up on the window-seal of his home, on the outskirts of the town. The light blue house was fitted with a large yard, lined with bushes and little flower gardens, which grew everything from fruits and vegetables like strawberries and pumpkins, to flowers like daisys and roses. He purred gently, his tail flicking slightly. His yellow eyes glowed, gazing out into the world outside of the window, a world he wanted to explore, every pawstep of it.

He shrugs. "I was just..wondering, I guess." He looked down awkwardly, curling his tail around himself.

*She giggles and sits up, burying the bones of the bird a few feet away, mumbling a small prayer to Starclan. She looks back over* Alright.

*She looks up at the sky* Well. Not usually. Usually only Leaders and Medicine cats can speak to them. *She looks back down at you, and grins* I'm just being polite, I guess. To the dead people.

He Tilts his head in confusion. "Medicine cats? Leaders? How can they talk to them either..?" He shakes his head, confused. "So Much to learn about these silly Clans." He looks up, eyes gleaming curiously.

*She sighs softly, but she has an amused gleam in her eye* Well... Leaders are cats that go to Starclan. *She glaces up* The dead cats, and get 9 lives. *She nods, smiling* And Medicine cats are cats that.. Umm. Well they're good in medicine, and they get prophecies from Starclan every halfmoon.

It's when one of the dead cats talks to the live cats about the future.. And stuff. *She smiles* My mother sent me a prophecy... A long time ago, when she died. It was weird, really. Seeing a dead cat when I slept.

He nodded slowly. "Oh...sounds complicated. And strange." He shrugged. "I guess if it's whats normal to you Clan cats, then alright."

*She giggles* It confuses me, too. Most of the cats in a clan are just regular, that hunt and fight for the clan. I'm a rogue, though. I just lived in a clan for a while, so I got used to the traditions.

He Smiled. "Oh, alright. It must be nice for the Clan cats to have one another to care for them. I don't know what I'd do If I Had to live alone. I'm thankful for my Two-legs."

*She nods* I guess some cats aren't meant for the wild. There's not enough room in those twoleg dens for me.

He flattens his ears defensively. "What do you mean, 'Some aren't meant for the wild?' Are you saying I couldn't make it out there? Cause I so Could!" He mewed, looking offended.

*She giggles* I probably would of stayed a kittypet, if I had a choice. But still. It's a bit hard out there.

Because I can't, now. *She giggles* I'm all ratty and scarred up. No twoleg would want that.

He furrows his brow, thinkinly XD 'I Don't know, I Guess. I Just always wondered what was beyond the walls of my yard, and how everyone out their lives... Until you came, I guess I just assumed the world ended at the boundary of my yard. Now that I know there's more...It's just so fascinating."
