Trapped!!!

Slate had been padding for awhile, and her paws were aching to stop and rest. He eyes were glazed with rage and hidden sadness. As she was about turn around she slipped on a sharp stone and tumbled down a hill until she stopped. She shook out the dust on her and then yowled in agony, her leg was caught in some sort of twoleg contraption and everytime she tried to pull free, the large jaws seemed to sink deeper in her leg. She looked around and scented the air for any cats but everything was still. She finally yelled," Help!"

The dark orange tabby pricked her ears, as she was not to far away. "Hello?" She glanced around, then bounded in the direction of Slate.

Slate heard Growl and meowed as loud as she could.

"Slate!" Runs up to her. "Don't move. It will only get worse. I'll-I'll try and get you out.."

Slate clenched her teeth," It hurts...."

[Guest]

"I know, I know... Now lets see..." Glances around at the ground. "Hm..."

*Orange trotted by, hearing the commotion* Hey guys! What- *Her eyes grew* Slate! *She stared from Growl to Slate* What happened?

"What do you think happened?" Blinks. "Help me find a sharp rock or stick. We need to hold it open or break the thing that closes it."

*She nodded slightly, stepping back* I'll go get one! *She dashed away, looking at the ground for any rocks*

"Alright." Pads up to Slate. "It's going to be ok. We're going to get you out in no time."

[Guest]

*A few minutes past, then Orange ran back up, carrying a medium sized stone in her jaws with a sharp edge* Here. *She dropped it by Growl, glancing down worriedly at Slate*

Slate stared at her left front leg in shock.

Picks up the sick and jams it into the trap where it's held together. "Here goes nothing." Pushes down on it, and moving it around.

*She shut her eyes and looked away*

Pushes it deeper in and pushes down harder.

[Guest]

Slate gritted her teeth in pain.

[Guest]

Moves its position and pants for a second, then jams it further into the trap. Hears a creak and ears shoot up. "I heard it make a sound. Do you feel any less tension on your leg?"

Slate shook her head and finally tugged what remained of her leg.

OOC- Three legged cat now! *yes!*

"Oh my..." Blinks. "We should wrap that up, so it stops bleeding." Grabs some cobwebs and puts them on your leg.

Slate tried to get to her paws but staggered and fell back down, her left leg only half of what it used to be(lol).

"Here. Lean against me." Looks over at you worriedly.

Slate stood up and leaned against Growl clumsily.

"Ok, lets go slowly, as you must'nt reopen your cut, and aren't very stable."

Howl watched the cats in shock, not daring to speak out.

Slate cursed under her breath as she wobbled along.
