The Pine forest.

Speckpetal slipped past, her steps light and playful. She trotted along carelessly, leaves and twigs snapping under her pounding paws. She smiled to herself, brushing past the trees.

He sniffs around the roots of the Pine Trees, hoping to find some Catnip

Purrs as she sits in a tree keeping an eye out for a bird.

[Guest]

He pads over to a bunch of pines and smiles, he starts digging at the roots of the newly found Catnip

He hunted and killed a bird, heading towards the Fresh-kill-pile, the bird dangling limply from his jaws.

Slate sniffed around the trees and glanced around quickly. She'd gone past the border easily and hoped for enough time to get what she was after. Quickly she hid in the undergrowth and slowly walked around.

*Badgerbreath, trotted happily through the forest, scenting for prey, but not exactly putting much effort into the hunt, his tail raised proudly. He froze when he crossed Slate's scent, his fur fluffing up suspiciously. He lowered his tail and followed the scent, his ears perked cautiously*

Slate squinted her eyes when she saw Badgerbreath through the bushes. Very quietly, she started to turn around and run but disrupted some leaves.

SycamoreStar came close behind Badger, he had picked up a rogue scent. His nostrils flared, and he charged towards where the leaves had been disrupted. His massive paws pounded against the crisp ground as he ran, fury blazing in his lucid yellow eyes.

Slate's ears pricked in alert as she heard Sycamorestar's pawsteps. She picked up her pace and was about to turn towards the safety of rogue territory when her paw was caught in a root and she somersaulted into a bramble bush.

He approached her, a low growl rumbling in his throat. "What do you think you're doing on StoneClan territory?" he asked sternly, his tail lashing.

*Badgerbreath ran up behind him, his fur fluffed up*

Slate crawled out of the Bramble bush, her fur on end but her yellow eyes calm rays of light," I didn't mean to intrude....I was just interested."

He hissed. "Whatever. Just get out and STAY out." he remarked firmly.

Slate laid back her ears and hissed," Gladly!" she turned around and began to pad away. When she stepped on her injured paw she winced in pain but slowly made her way back to the border.

He made sure she left, and then bounded back to his clan.

SycamoreStar padded in, his gaze flickering across the trees. His eyes suddenly glued to a lush sparrow, and he leaped up into the tree silently, snatching the bird with grace, and jumping back down, the bird dead, in his jaws. He then strolled back to Camp merrily.

WindPaw crept into the pine forest, her paw steps nearly silent on the dead pine needles carpeting the earth. In the patches of sunlight that manage to filter through the cloud cover and tree tops, her black fur sheens like a raven's wing. She looks around, a little nervous. She isn't sure on how to hunt, so she decides to practice her crouch. WindPaw awkwardly shuffles her paws, trying to get it right. In the distance, a bird calls loud and clear. Her ears flick up and her amber eyes gaze through the pines.

BlueWhisker Stalks around the forest, trying to enjoy the quiet but is having difficulties with a sound distracting her. So she stalks the sound and leads her self to a bush. Blue leaps over the bush, not really sure what she will find, and lands on a plump rabbit. So she grabs it with her jaws before it could run away and bites it neck and kills it. Thanking StarClan, she pads back to camp, satisfied with what she has caught.

Speckstar padded through, taking in the sweet scent of the pine trees that dotted the area. Her warm hazel eyed gaze swept the forest floor like a broom, picking up any of the subtle movements of the hiding prey. A few leaves rustled, and a tail flicked out from underneath. She smiled to herself, and ducked down, creeping forward. She placed her paws carefully, making sure not to rustle the leaves or crack a stick. When she was but a fox-length away, she pounced, her strong muscles rippling under her sleek pelt. She landed on the leaf pile precisely. She kicked away the leaves, revealing the slender mouse. She picked it up in her jaws and thanked StarClan, before heading back to camp. She held her head high, as her tail flicked.
