Speckstar trotted across the camp clearing, then leaped up onto the highrock. She turned to face the clearing, calling out the greeting she'd called out many times before. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather under the highrock for a Clan meeting!" She waited patiently for the cats of the Clan to gather, before she begun. "Recently, a young apprentice has come to join us in StoneClan, and they needs to start their training. Fallingpaw, step forward." She waited, her eyes shinning with warmth as she scanned the clearing for the cat. "It has come time to name you a mentor, so you can begin your training. FrostCloud, step forward. You will be Fallingpaw's mentor. I trust you will pass down everything you know to the young apprentice." She smiled, and leaped off the highrock.
